Terms & Conditions
Agreement to Terms
By submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, or booking DJ/MC Rob Everett and Everett Events (referred to as "Everett Events," "we," or "us"), you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms govern the entertainment services we provide for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and nightlife engagements.
Services
Everett Events provides professional DJ entertainment, MC and event hosting, wedding ceremony audio, uplighting, photo booth, event lighting, and sound equipment rental. The specific services included for your event are defined in your individual booking agreement or quote. No service is considered booked or confirmed until a written agreement is signed and any required deposit is received.
Quotes and Pricing
Every event is unique. Quotes are prepared based on the details you share — event type, date, duration, venue, guest count, and the services requested. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Pricing is not published on this website because entertainment should be tailored to each celebration, not sold as a fixed package.
Booking and Deposits
To reserve a date, a signed agreement and a deposit are required. Your date is not held until both are received. Deposits are non-refundable and secure your event date on our calendar. The remaining balance is due on or before the event date as specified in your agreement.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, notify us as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. If you reschedule your event to another available date, we will make every reasonable effort to transfer your deposit to the new date. If the new date is unavailable, the deposit is forfeited. If Everett Events must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, any amounts paid will be refunded in full.
Event Conduct and Venue Requirements
You are responsible for providing accurate event details, including venue access times, load-in and sound-check windows, parking, and any venue restrictions. Some venues require proof of insurance, certificates of liability, or vendor licensing — please confirm these requirements early so we can coordinate. A safe, accessible performance area and adequate power supply must be available at the venue.
Music Requests and Content
We welcome your music preferences, must-play and do-not-play lists, and special moment selections. While we honor your requests to the fullest extent possible, we reserve the right to use professional judgment regarding song selection, timing, and crowd engagement to maintain the atmosphere of your event. We do not guarantee the availability of any specific song, remix, or version.
Photography, Video, and Media
Everett Events may capture photo and video content during events for promotional and portfolio purposes, including on this website and social media. If you prefer your event not be featured, please notify us in writing before the event date and we will respect your request.
Liability
Everett Events carries appropriate liability coverage for our services. We are not liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from circumstances outside our control, including venue-related issues, guest conduct, power failures, or acts of nature. Clients are responsible for the conduct of their guests and for any damage to equipment caused by attendees.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time your agreement is signed governs your booking. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
